I enrolled P in a summer playgroup class earlier this month, which turned out to be a pretty good decision albeit last minute because her nanny for 10 months just decided to go MIA on us.
But I’ve accepted the nanny-less part of life and am thrilled about the “award” (okay, it’s not really an award but a big fat ribbon) that P received this morning during the class’ culmination.
I know this doesn’t really mean anything and this will rarely make or break her future, but I’m so proud of her! Haha. It’s ridiculous, I know but what the heck! I guess it comes with the job :)
I rarely get sentimental in weddings. I am weird like that. But the wedding we attended this afternoon pinched a corner in my heart that I never knew existed. The entire celebration - from the church to the reception - was loads of fun, yet it went very smoothly. It was effortless. Everything just fell into place.
I guess when true love is really there, nothing can go wrong.
I’m so happy for the couple. Welcome to the mad tea party called marriage! :D

P’s class had a “field trip” last Friday and the mission was to paint two ceramic figurines. At first she just focused on painting the shoes and the head, but later on went all psychedelic on them! Haha.
